Getting to Thailand

A trip to Thailand is a big deal, and we want to make it as easy as possible. Below are our tips on flights and things to do โ€” and once you reach Bangkok, we'll handle getting you the rest of the way to the venue. If you'd like a hand planning the rest of your travels, just ask.

Give yourself time

When to Arrive

Thailand is a long way from home, and the time difference is no joke. We strongly recommend arriving at least a few days before the wedding โ€” ideally a full week. It gives you time to shake off the jet lag, settle in, and actually enjoy yourself, rather than powering through the day exhausted.

Trust us โ€” you'll be glad you came early.

Booking Flights

Which airport to fly into

BKK Bangkok โ€” Suvarnabhumi Most guests

Thailand's main international airport. Most guests will fly here. About a 1.5โ€“2 hour drive south to Sattahip / Pattaya.

UTP U-Tapao (Pattaya)

The closest airport โ€” right in Sattahip, ~20 minutes from the venue. Limited regional flights, but worth checking for a connection from Bangkok.

DMK Bangkok โ€” Don Mueang

Bangkok's budget hub (AirAsia, etc.). Often cheaper, but a slightly longer ~2 hour drive to the venue.
